Matchstick Men (Hunt&Cam4Ever #2)

Matchstick Men (Hunt&Cam4Ever #2) - Adira August

Definitely falling for this couple. Anxious for more. ❤️

Blaze (Unbreakable Bonds #5)

Blaze - Rinda Elliott, Jocelynn Drake

Ummm. So yeah this didn’t work for me.

Story was a 3. I really could have done without this EPA drama and had a book solely about the wedding but that’s just me. I found myself skimming a lot. Oh and did you know Lucas and his niece look just alike?? Like wow. Not sure I heard that enough. I’m worried the future book will be similar. Family dramalama with less about the boys.

The boys were a 4. I missed Jude, Ian and Hollis which is why this is not a 5. Their presence was definitely missed. I could have also used some additional tender moments at the reception in lieu of another round of hot sex. Phew. Toasts, dancing and that hug between Snow and Andrei. Yep...that I needed.

Book an average of 3.5.

Anyway, I love these guys and their “Unbreakable Bond”. But for me it’s time to say goodbye and let these guys live on in my head.

On His Knees (Hunt&Cam4Ever #1)

On His Knees (Hunt&Cam4Ever #1) - Adira August

Definitely Intrigued.

Ian (Unbreakable Bonds #4.5)

Unbreakable Stories: Ian - Rinda Elliott, Jocelynn Drake

“What are we having?”
Hollis reached out and lifted the lid on the tureen. The fragrance that filled the room made him grin. Chicken, egg, and lemon. Avgolemono Soup.
“Because I couldn’t ask you to make the best version, I asked Jude where I could find the second best. He said his mother and she happily offered to make this for us today.” He ladled the soup into their bowls and pulled out Ian’s chair. After he sat, Hollis put his hands on Ian’s shoulders and squeezed. “I’m sure this is wonderful, but I’m partial to yours. I felt so rotten the day we first met, and you walked up to me and handed me this soup. You have no idea what it meant to me. That day changed my life. I sat alone in my house that night with my head cold and your soup. When I went to bed, I dreamed of you.”

Who would have thought Holly would be the most romantic of the bunch, but I do believe he is.

Devour (Unbreakable Bonds #4)

Devour - Rinda Elliott, Jocelynn Drake

“I’m not that boy anymore, Banner.”
“I know,” Hollis breathed into his hair as he wrapped his arms around him. “I really do know that. But that boy was you and someone hurt him and it broke my heart. It still breaks my heart and makes me want to show you nothing but love for the rest of your life.”

Absolutely loved these two. ❤️❤️❤️

Unbreakable Stories: Rowe - Rinda Elliott, Jocelynn Drake

Damn it, Rowe. You made her so happy, and I love you for that. I know she’d want you to be happy. If Noah makes you feel that way, then hold him tight and be happy. That’s all she’d want for you, honey.”

Torch (Unbreakable Bonds #3)

Torch - Rinda Elliott, Jocelynn Drake

Love these characters but the storyline with Jagger just is not working for me at all.

Looking forward to Ian’s story though. ❤️

I love these characters and the couple is finally getting somewhere...but can we get past this arson business...that part is boring me to tears.

“Be careful. I love Rowe dearly and want more than anything for him to find happiness and love again. If that’s with you, I’ll be thrilled. But he may still need time or be confused. I don’t know what happened between you two in the past, but he’s different now. Mel’s death made him different. I can tell you have a nice, big heart. So, keep it safe.”

The Other Book

The Other Book - Roe Horvat

His hand on my nape stroked gently, coaxing me back to consciousness. I lifted my head from the crook of his neck to meet his gaze. His eyes were soft, and I knew that look. I recognized it from other faces, directed at lovers, but not at me. It was how Adam gazed at Christoffer.

Once again Roe Horvat’s writing captivated me. Definitely a step into the erotic realm but done so in such a remarkable and beautiful way. Yes, this has graphic sex between 2, 3 and in one case 4 people, but never is the emotional connection between the main characters lost. And while this story is about Tyler and Joel, my heavens…Adam and Christoffer are simply irresistible. I am not sure there are many cases in which a side couple has mesmerized me the way these two have. Their love for each other is breathtaking and their love for Tyler is remarkable.

Yes this book, as stated above, includes sex with other people, however this is in no way what I would view or characterize as an open relationship. Roe is first and foremost about consent, love and commitment.

While this moves from a hate/lust relationship to love rather quickly, it just worked for me. I wanted these men together. They simply needed each other and Tyler’s nurturing aspects came forward quite well…something I am sure he learned from his loving mother. She was simply remarkable.

Joel stood by the table, his back to me, bent and curled down low enough so he could fit into my mother’s ambitious embrace. She was petting his hair, soothing. Her eyes met mine over his shoulder, and she smiled a sad smile. I blinked and backed off noiselessly into the kitchen.
My mother was a witch. There was no other explanation.

All the love for this book and I simply cannot wait for Adam and Christoffer’s story.

*Note: I had the opportunity to beta read this and was given an ARC from the author in exchange for an honest review.

“There are some things I just know, General. Just like I knew what you could be to me from the beginning. I go after what I want.”

“Dominant fucker.”

“You love it.”

❤️❤️❤️

Fearless (Trials of Fear, Book 4)

Fearless - Nicky James

I absolutely loved this. The end maybe was a little rushed but man Max was a dream. ❤️❤️❤️

I Saw You First

I Saw You First - Darien Cox

I had broken *him*. I’d thought that was what I wanted. To break him. But now I wanted to take it back. To unbreak him. I’d never considered what this information might do to him. I hadn’t cared. But now I was shaken to discover I did care. He was so big and tough and obnoxious, I didn’t think he could be broken. I’d expected him to fight me. I had not anticipated this reaction. “Are you all right?”

I absolutely loved everything about this. But damn...this one packs a punch. There is no doubt this one will be reread in my future as the story will be one that sticks with me for many years to come.

The HEA these three men receive is well earned. Man. My heart breaks for any child subjected to this kind of upbringing.
