First off, I am kicking myself for letting this book sit in my “to read” stack for 8 months. After having read [b:Chaos Walking A Trilogy|13047567|Chaos Walking A Trilogy|Patrick Ness|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1340011788s/13047567.jpg|18212082] by Ness, I quickly added his other books to my list. Not until Andrew recently read [b:A Monster Calls|8621462|A Monster Calls|Patrick Ness|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1387584864s/8621462.jpg|13492114] did this book come up and thank goodness it did.
I went into this read, pretty blind which made it, I believe, all that much more enjoyable. Overall, describing this book is just beyond my abilities at this point, so instead I am going to include images for my feels. This book is overwhelmingly the most complex book I have read in a while that pulls at so many emotions that were so eloquently written that I am just beside myself for words.
